REVIEW: Etude House Dear Darling Tint 01 Berry Red

Hello Everyone!
This would be my first blog entry for my beauty blog. I'm actually a book reviewer but then recently I kind of started experimenting with make up and thought it would be cool to review them too.
So here I am.
Taaadaaaa!! :)

Anyways, for my first entry, I wanted to start with a permanent staple on my makeup kit.

Etude House Dear Darling Tint 01 Berry Red

INITIAL REACTION

I hate retouching. I'm always on the look out for products that lasts all day. And you know what would be good too? A multi-purpose products that would save you some money and also space on your makeup kit.

I read tons of review on the internet about Dear Darling tint and was convinced to get it. This is my first product from Etude House and I is very impressed with it.

SWATCHES

The color is just amazing. It's one of the things I love about this tint. It is very pigmented. It has a gel-like texture which really works.

HOW IT LOOKS ON ME

Not sure if you guys are seeing it on my cheeks because its slightly sheer which is why it looks so natural.
Doesn't my lips look pretty?
Oh come on?!
Tell me..
It is right?
LOL.

REACTION AFTER USING THE PRODUCT

I think this one is a very good tint. I really loved the bitten-like stain it gives my lips when I apply it and also the pinkish pinched-like stain on my cheeks.
I am absolutely in love with it!
In order for you to get really good pigment on your lips you have to coat your lips at least 2-3 swipes before you get the best color payoff. Well really it depends on your preference. I just like it being really pinkish so I wouldn't have to put again after a while.
I think the tint on my lips lasts me about 2-3 hours but on my cheeks it lasts the whole day when applied properly.
I apply this tint on my cheeks using the doe foot applicator and also my small kabuki brush. I put three dots of tint on the apples of my cheeks and then buff it out with my small kabuki and it gives me a super natural flushed look.
Aside from that, I also use this tint as a base for my lipstick. For some reason it does a good job in holding my lipstick in place for a while.

THUMBS UP

* The price. The price is very reasonable at 198 pesos (around $5 I think). Seriously, I think I wouldn't buy this if it was more than 300 pesos.
* Staying power is decent. I've tried some tints before like the Ever Bilena I think and it wasn't as good as this one. It lasts me 2-3 hours for the lips, even after eating (a lot) so that's saying something. For cheeks, it lasts me the whole day which is just amazing!!
* Color. I've tried two of these already 01 and 02 and I like both of them but I still prefer 02.
*Natural finish. I like that it looks so natural on both my lips and cheeks.
*Packaging is cute.
*The tube lasts me a long time. It takes me 3-4 months I think before I finish the entire thing and I use it every day so it's totally worth it.

THUMBS DOWN

* Wish it stays longer on the lips.

FINAL VERDICT

I would totally recommend this tint to everyone. I mean not everyone uses tint I guess so mostly for teens who want some color on their cheeks and lips but still keep it natural and fresh.
I'm not a fan of putting too much product on my face so when I don't really need it I just put this on my cheeks and on my lips and I'm all set to go.
I think Etude House has more tints and lipsticks that I could try and maybe I will at some point because this really impressed me. I think the others would be more expensive though.

Anywhooo.. what would I rate this? I'd give this 5 hearts!! :)
